RELEVENT
EXPERIENCE
·
Created all spatial analysis and graphics for
a restoration project proposal, under the direction of Professor Shannon Bane.
The proposal was to restore habitat for the California red-legged frog and
the California tiger salamander with the Santa Clara County Open Space
Authority. As the head of GIS for the project, I creating project scale GIS
databases, conducting habitat assessments, as well as communicated with public
agencies (January-May 2012).

Created a GIS database and used SQL to study historical
changes in nest site characteristics of the peregrine falcon, under the
direction of Dr. Lynne Trulio. I created both graphic and technical
representations of the results using ESRI ArcGIS, Adobe Photoshop, MS Access
and MS Excel (January-May 2012).
·
Worked on the S.F. Public Utility Commission's
Bioregional Habitat Restoration, as a Specialty Environmental Monitor. I
worked closely with project managers, contracted construction firms, and
environmental scientists to monitor construction activities and survey for
flora and fauna (June 2012-October 2012).

OTHER EXPERIENCE

Managed a rental property in San Jose.
Established positive working relationships with tenants, handled the finances
for the building, and coordinated and completed many small budget projects in a
timely fashion (August 2008-May 2012).

Worked for Our City Forest, an Americorp grant
funded urban ‘forest’ restoration organization. Preformed, organized, and
supervised tree nursery maintenance (June 2009-June 2010).
